Brands ( selected items ) included in the Iceland 8 for £10 offer are BirdsEye, McCain, Goodfellas, Young’s, Quorn, Aunt Bessies, Chicago Town and The No Meat Company.

Today from Iceland we got:

  • 4x BirdsEye 10 Chicken Fingers ( Chicken’s have fingers… Ahhh yes, only on the front legs ).
  • 2x BirdsEye 2 Crispy Chicken
  • 1x Birdseye 8 Crispy Batter Fish Fingers ( no fishy fingers jokes you lot at the back )
  • 1x BirdsEye 2 Fillets Battered Fish

All those branded items for an Ayrton Senna ( a tenner ). Given the prices rising at the tills over the last few months this offer represents great value. If you are not bothered about branded items your same £10 will get you 10 Iceland branded items.

Recently we made some videos ( Chinese Style Chicken & Rice ) on their Iceland own label £1 items. Back then there was only a small selection available at the one pound price point. Wow, we found this visit the range has been expanded and there are lots more items available so we shall revisit with review videos to come soon.

Iceland Store Experience

Being a Sunday, the store was quiet. Those who shop at Iceland know there are times when it can be basket wars. Speaking of baskets there were none available at the doors. The ‘bargain’ aisle in our local Iceland is first so it was a case of stacking the items high. We also picked up a three for £10 offer and a bag of frozen chips too. By the time the checkout was in sight carrying that lot entailed walking like a plate spinner at an after dinner event. While we could have grabbed a basket from the checkout and returned to the first aisle as the store is small there’s no hardship, plus having to carry what you purchase means there is no over buying.

The store was clean and tidy, no rubbish or overspill of items or shelf debris. The checkout colleague was pleasant with a good conversation exchange. Having forgot the bags we picked up a Paper Bag for 25p, the cat will enjoy playing in that upon returning home.

You can also opt for home delivery at the checkout, choose a delivery slot while paying for your shopping and leave it to Iceland to pack and deliver your shopping later.

While Iceland is primarily a freezer store they also have general grocery, fresh fruit and veg, consumables, cereals, bread, milk, chilled meats, biscuits, cooking sauces and a selection of alcoholic tipples too.

Iceland is a budget frozen food shop with stores throughout the United Kingdom. We tend to shop there intermittently. We found our visit after a break good as usually there are new items and offers instore not seen previously.
